I am not an original Floridian but would like to express my review with American Homes -and in particular with their agent Erica Rice. My wife and I traveled to Florida to hopefully find a home that we could become Snowbirds/ as we recently retired! We arrived in Jan - and rented a place to begin our search- I personally called 4 agents (from different realtors) and Erica was the ONLY one to return my call ( the others called back two weeks later- which was their loss) Erica set up an appointment on a Weds for us to see a place - we arrived and she began showing us the home- although the home was not what my wife was looking for- Erica took the time to get to know us and find out what we were looking for and what areas we were searching in - we actually spend two hours with her that day discussing it all. My wife was drawn to her bubbly personality/ explaining pros/cons of the different areas we might be interested in - our interests of we liked to do - all so she could find exactly what we might be looking for (remember we are not from Florida originally so her honest input was greatly appreciated ) during our conversation Erica got excited and said she had the perfect place for us to look at - she followed through - on that Friday we met her to look at the residence. It turned out to be exactly what we were looking for- so now the process begins…. Erica was there every step of the way guided us flawlessly to the ownership of our new home! we would not have been able to do this without her! I bought the home remotely with Erica R and she was an amazing help. She made the entire process very easy for someone that lives out of state and was looking to move to Florida. The remote closing was very simple and very easy to accomplish with Erica's help. She responded to all my questions quickly even when she was on vacation and made us feel confident in my choice & decision buy with American Homes. She met us at the house on our timeframe in Florida and quickly had the paperwork ready for us before we left. She emailed a list of important numbers we might need for services, hospitals, and contractors for our new home so that the transition goes smoothly when we come to our new home. The virtual walk through of the house before closing was nicely done including every room, appliances, faucets, and outside areas. We are looking forward to returning to our new home.
